The Goose Creek Opry fiddle contest is a fun, low pressure contest.
Our goals for this contest are to:
provide a setting for the first-time contestant,
provide a chance to get back on stage for seasoned contestants to ready
themselves for the contest season, and
provide an opportunity for local youth to experience the joys of
"handmade" music.
The contest, which begins at 8:00 AM, Saturday, July 26, will be held
in the town park using "Texas Style" judging and is open to the public
with admission by donation. Check the contest schedule
